Freiburg can be reached from several airports:
At a distance of 80 km, the Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg airport (EuroAirport) is the nearest airport. Offers international scheduled flights and charter flights.

Can be reached directly from Freiburg with the Airport Bus, or by bus and train with a change of trains in Basel. Can be reached by car via the A5 autobahn in the direction of Basel, then from the autobahn triangle Neuenburg via Ottmarsheim/Mulhouse on the A35 or shortly before the Basel autobahn customs office via Palmrheinbücke, Huningue and St. Louis.

Located directly at the Freiburg Messe and only 1.5 km from the city centre, the Freiburg airfield (customs airport) is a popular and direct air link for commercial enterprises, business people and private pilots to the Freiburg Messe or to the many attractions of the city of Freiburg. The small airport is licensed for aircraft weighing up to 10,000 tonnes.
The city centre can be reached by bus or taxi.

About 80 km away from Freiburg, situated a little to the south of Strasbourg (near Entzheim). Accessible via public transport by travelling to Strasbourg by rail (via Offenburg and Kehl) after which there are a number of ways to reach the airport by bus, tram or regional railway. The airport can be reached by car using the A5 and Rue National highways in France.

This international airport is located about 100 km north of Freiburg between Baden-Baden and Karlsruhe. Accessible by public transport via rail links from Freiburg to Baden-Baden, Rastatt or Karlsruhe and then continuing by bus, or using the direct airport transfer shuttle busses departing from Freiburg. Take the A5 autobahn (exit Baden-Baden) if travelling by car.
