As a convention, conference and event location in the centre of one of Germany’s cities offering the highest quality of life, the Kongresszentrum Konzerthaus Freiburg enjoys special status.

It is not, however, just concerts that cause people to stream in droves into one of the most compelling examples of modern architecture: Since first opening in 1996, more than 6,000 events have been staged here. For the most part, these events have been conventions, meetings, annual general meetings, workshops, as well as major social events such as for instance the annual Press Ball. Up until now, a total of more than 2.5 million guests have spent unforgettable hours and moments here, which will remain in their memories for a long time.

Designed by the Berlin architect Dietrich Bangert (Schirn Art Gallery, Frankfurt; State Delegation of Baden-Württemberg, Berlin), thanks to its unique atmosphere and the ample natural light of its architecture, the Kongresszentrum Konzerthaus Freiburg enhances any event concept. State-of-the-art technology gives creative ideas plenty of space and various lighting and seating concepts create many opportunities for event organisers.
